Is included as a vital part in a number of educations for work within human care where there is a demand of deaf well educated labour. At present these educations are found at education providers. A possdibility to move over to a flexible education, partly distance, would open opportunities to more people to take part in these courses and thereby making it easier to meet the demand of labour in the area.

Iris Hadar in Uppsala arranges courses for deaf in this subject and also in other subjects within the human care field and intends to use the education material when it is ready in future courses.
Iris Hadar has pedagogy competence in courses aimed to deaf knowing sign language and the expertise needed in the area of medicine.
Omnitor has deaf staff knowing sign language with experience in development of flexible education, in web based content, in storing technique and communication using sign language. Omnitor has also a record of development projects successfully carried out.
Through this combination of competence and background will Omnitor and Iris Hadar together be able to form an effective organization for production of teaching aids for flexible learning.
The course already exist in a flexible version created by CFL, Center of flexible learning. The first parts are ready with sign language since autumn 2003. In production of this second module, will the material that remains to be done except "studieenhet 2", be treated. Information in the web parts will be translated and adapted to sign language. A selection of in depth material will also be translated. This will make a realistic project, reasonable and well tied to the CFL activity. It will be a natural step in the effort to make the CFL courses available for all.
